The kraut pierogi tastes just like my mother used to make! They are favorable, and the dough is light, so you actually taste the kraut and not just the dough. Add sautéed onions with a dollop of sour cream, and you have a tasty treat!!! You won’t be disappointed. My mother was Ukrainian but born in Poland….both nationalities would be proud of this pierogi or varenyky.
