Tasty Mushroom Topping



1 pkg  Potato and Cheese Pierogi, Kraut Pierogi, Kraut and Mushroom PierogiCheese Pyzy, Finger Dumplings or any other of our savory flavors!
8 chopped button mushrooms
1/2 onion (optional)
5 Slices of chopped bacon (optional)
3 tbs butter
salt and pepper to taste


  1. Cook pierogi or pyzy as directed on package
  2. Melt butter on large skillet
  3. Add onions to skillet and cook until soft and translucent
  4. Add mushrooms to skillet and saute until soft.
  5. Drain pierogi and toss in skillet for 5 min*
  6. .Enjoy!

*Tip: Before adding pierogi, ensure enough butter is left in the pan so the pierogi won't stick. Add more butter as needed
