1 pkg Potato and Cheese Pierogi, Kraut Pierogi, Kraut and Mushroom Pierogi, Cheese Pyzy, Finger Dumplings or any other of our savory flavors!
8 chopped button mushrooms
1/2 onion (optional)
5 Slices of chopped bacon (optional)
3 tbs butter
salt and pepper to taste
- Cook pierogi or pyzy as directed on package
- Melt butter on large skillet
- Add onions to skillet and cook until soft and translucent
- Add mushrooms to skillet and saute until soft.
- Drain pierogi and toss in skillet for 5 min*
*Tip: Before adding pierogi, ensure enough butter is left in the pan so the pierogi won't stick. Add more butter as needed
